What started out as a hobby for Jennie over 20 years ago has developed over the years into a fully fledged professional business, which she now runs with her brother Padraig. Jennies candles have been sent to all continents, in a variety of languages. From Tasmania to Gretna Green, from Ballintubber Abbey in Mayo to the Church of All Saints in Rome, Jennies candles have been used to celebrate occasions on as many Caribbean beaches as they have been placed on Mediterranean altars as well as for heart-warming moments closer to home.
While Jennie started off designing her own candles, it is through listening to what her customers want that ensures Jennie continues to add and adapt to her extensive range.
Jennie was the first person, in Ireland, to start a business that specialised in personalising wedding candles and while her designs and ideas have come to be copied by many, we still like to think that we are the best at what we do.
